Video of the Day: What would 100,000 volts of electricity do to human flesh?

Over on the YouTube channel Photonicinduction, electricity experts gave us a look into the effects of electricity on human flesh.

Don’t get nervous — this wasn’t actually tested out on a human’s skin. Instead, the YouTuber with over 25 years of electricity experience tried it out on ballistic gel that simulates human flesh. The synthetic gelatin substance is commonly used by law enforcement agencies to determine the effects of different bullet penetrations.

[Spoiler Alert]

So, what happened?

In testing, a set of high-voltage equipment was used to apply voltage to the gel. At 250-volts of electricity, the gel was sliced through in a butter-like manner. When 2500 volts was applied, the gel took on boiling properties. At 100,00 volts? Lightning!
