Every year since 1998, the Society of Women Engineers Wichita Section has put on an Engineering Expo to show kids in grades K-8 how cool engineering can be.

This free event features hands-on activities for kids in grades K-8 to learn how engineering relates to the world around us.

A fantastic group of organizations from the community will bring their activities to Expo. These include: Spirit AeroSystems Design-A-Boat, KMUW, Make-It-Yourself Slime, Kansas Strong, Blue Baboon Books, Free Flight Model Airplanes, Robotics, Static Electricity, AIAA Wichita, NASA in Kansas, SPEEA, Pom Pom Shooters, Women in Nuclear – Wolf Creek Chapter, Lamphouse Photo Booth, Balancing Butterflies, WSU College of Engineering, Future Maker 3D STEM Lab, String Telephones, Bridges, Exploration Place, Temporary Tattoos, Doc’s Friends, Wichita Fire Department, ProtoBench, WSU Society of Women Engineers, EAA Chapter 88, The Boeing Company, MakeICT, Siemens Renewable Energy, Wichita eSports, Fireshark Gaming, Wolters Kluwer – Computer Programming, Absorption Stress Balls, Flinkers, Noodle Robots, Altitude UAS – Drones, Temporary Tattoos
