Sunglasses with built-in bone conduction speakers transmit sound to your skull

Music lovers will be glad to hear there’s a new high-tech way to listen to music on-the-go, and it doesn’t require the use of headphones or earbuds, just a pair of sunglasses.

Zungle Panther sunglasses come with built-in bone conduction speakers which enables them to transmit sound waves to the skull via vibrations.

The bone-conduction speakers allow users to hear external sounds while still privately listening to their music, making the sunglasses a safer alternative to traditional earbuds.

According to its creators, Zungle Panthers provide a sound system that’s comparable to ordinary earphones with speakers on each of the legs of the glasses.

The new technology eliminates the need for wires and pairs with smartphone devices via Bluetooth.

Not only will users be able to listen to their music directly through their sunglasses, but they can also make and answer phone calls. The glasses come with a singe dial that turns the contraption on and off, pairs the device, selects songs, and controls the volume.

It even comes with a hidden USB port and offers four hours of playtime before needing a charge.

According to its Kickstarter campaign page, where the company raised three times its initial funding goal in just days, the glasses are even lighter than pair of Ray Bans.

If you’re interested in snagging a pair at early-bird price, head over to the Kickstarter page where you can still pre-order a pair for $100, with shipping expected in November.
