Watch: Can Ammonia Decarbonize our Cars?

Ammonia. Plants need it and can even absorb it in the air through their leaves. We use it in fertilizer, which fuels leafy growth and stem development. Can we use it to fuel our vehicles? Carmakers like Toyota are certainly giving it a try.

Ammonia is combustible, and carmakers consider it a possible low-effort way to decarbonize our cars. Could ammonia engines be the end of electric vehicles (EVs)?

Join host George Zaidan in his video “Does Toyota Know Something That We Don’t?” as he does some YouTube science and digs into this topic. Oh, also, he “burns some stuff.”
