ACHEMA is the world’s leading global trade fair for the process industry and this year is taking place from June 11-15th 2018 in Frankfurt, Germany. At the event, Sulzer Chemtech will offer all stand visitors free virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) experiences.
Sulzer Chemtech, the leader in mixing and separation technology, is committed to provide a showcase at ACHEMA 2018. To do so, the company will provide its visitors with an app for download to smartphones and a pair of VR glasses to jump into another exhibition, 100% virtual.
In this virtual environment, attendees will be able to experience an immersive, 360° insight into Sulzer Chemtech’s pieces of equipment that can reach heights of over 50m accurately and in full-scale. At the same time, they will be able to interact and access relevant information of the products, in the form of text, videos and pictures.
The app is free to download and is available for smartphones via the link provided here.
The app can also be used without VR glasses by using the smartphone screen for navigation.
The app is not the only reality technology Sulzer Chemtech will feature at its stand. Sulzer Chemtech will also present a VR experience of a complete process plant and an AR application overlaying videos and audio onto the physical world for a hands-on experience of a chemical process plant and how Sulzer’s equipment fits into it.
Back into the real, unaugmented world, visitors can expect to meet with industry experts from Sulzer Chemtech and discuss with them the mixing and separation and mixing solutions offered.
