InvenSense To Exhibit At This Year’s Sensors Expo Show

InvenSense will be at this year’s 2017 Sensors Expo Show in San Jose, California, June 28th-29th June, in two separate booths. InvenSense will have its own booth in the MEMS section of Sensors Expo, booth #446. InvenSense will also be part of the TDK booth, #416. The company will be showcasing not only its latest ‘Sensing Everything’ MEMS sensor platforms and services, but also its new relationship with TDK.

In May of 2017, InvenSense became part of the MEMS Sensors Business Group within the newly formed Sensor Systems Business Company of TDK Corporation. TDK currently focuses on three market segments: automotive, industrial equipment and energy, and Information and Communications Technology (ICT). As part of its strategy for growth in these key areas, TDK has identified sensors and actuators, energy units and next-gen electronic components as three product areas for strategic growth aimed at unlocking new business opportunities in the sphere of the Internet of Things (IoT). Sensors are viewed as an important IoT-enabling technology, and sensor products and the technology portfolio of TDK will expand dramatically as a result of its acquisition of InvenSense.

TDK’s strategy is to market the entire TDK sensor portfolio to its customers. For this reason, products from, InvenSense, TDK USA, EPCOS Inc, TDK-Micronas and Tronics are each represented on the TDK booth.

InvenSense demos:

  • Audio solutions
    • InvenSense’s microphone portfolio builds on a strong heritage of industry firsts, including continuous improvement of MEMS microphone SNR, ever-higher integration levels, and even lower power consumption.
  • Motion solutions
    • Come see a demonstration of barometric movement using the new ICM-20789. The ICM-20789 integrates InvenSense’s leading 6-axis (3-axis accelerometer + 3-axis gyroscope) MEMS motion sensor with InvenSense’s world class pressure sensor, providing a solution with performance on par with best in class discrete parts.
  • IoT development
    • Check out the next version of SensorStudio, which will be announced and launched at Sensors Expo.  SensorStudio is a sensor prototyping and development platform for the Internet of Things (IoT). SensorStudio generates sensor and algorithm development projects to market faster.
  • HMD
    • InvenSense’s sensor solution delivers on the key parameters of sensitivity: Sensitivity Response (SR), sensitivity error, offset vs temperature, and sensitivity drift vs temperature, bringing a superior VR and AR experience.
