Video of the Day: Watch astronaut dressed like a gorilla run around the ISS

Astronaut Scott Kelly decided that it would be fun to dress up like an ape and run around the International Space Station.

In his recent Facebook post, Kelly, who is finishing up his year in space mission, posted the following video with this caption:

“Needed a little humor to lighten up a #YearInSpace. Go big, or go home. I think I’ll do both! #SpaceApe

But I guess who wouldn’t think to send an ape suit up to space!

Kelly will be returning home next week after becoming the first American to complete a year in space. The mission is part of the space agency’s interest in finding out what effects long periods of space time have on the human body. After Kelly’s return, NASA will collect medical data at the three and six month points to monitor health and help determine how to keep humans safe on future missions to Mars.
