AMD Unveils Next-Gen Ryzen Processors

AMD announced “together we advance_PCs,” a livestream premiere unveiling next-generation AMD PC products. A video of the event (below) presents details on the latest “Zen 4” architecture that powers upcoming AMD Ryzen™ processors and the all-new AM5 platform built around the latest technologies, including DDR5 and PCIe5, driving a new era of performance desktop PCs.

AMD also announced details of its first four new Zen 4 Ryzen 7000 series “Raphael” processors, the 16-core $699 Ryzen 9 7950X flagship, which AMD claims is the fastest CPU in the world, to the six-core $299 Ryzen 5 7600X, the lowest bar of entry to the first family of Zen 4 processors. They expect the chips to deliver market-leading performance. The processors target healthcare and entertainment to science and autonomous driving.
