Einstein’s Theory, Quantum Mechanics, and the Secrets of the Universe

An article in Nature Communications, Emergent Sasaki-Einstein geometry, and AdS/CFT,  by researchers from Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, and MIT, USA, looks at quantum gravity to include a macroscopic and microscopic description of nature. Researchers show how gravity emerges from a special quantum mechanical system in a simplified model for quantum gravity called the ‘holographic principle.’

This research may provide new insights into how and why microscopic quantum mechanical ripples arise and the relationship between Einstein’s theory of gravity and quantum mechanics, which has eluded scientists for decades. Check out the fascinating piece that potentially opens up a wealth of understanding—all based on math.
