Ikea’s furniture looks great in the home, but modified, can do even more. The group of hackers that modifies and re-purposes Ikea furniture has transformed and Ikea desk into a functional arcade gaming cabinet for under $400 (not including the Xbox or Playstation video game system that’s required to actually play).
As posted on Ikeahackers, project materials include an Ikea MICKE desk, a Samsung monitor, Arcade stick motherboard, buttons, joystick, stainless steel panel, and an Xbox or Playstation.
