Mouser Now Stocking Infineon’s XMC4700 Relax Series Evaluation Kits

Mouser Electronics is now stocking XMC4700 Relax, Relax Kit for 5V Shields, and Relax Lite evaluation kits from Infineon Technologies. These kits are designed to evaluate the capabilities of the XMC4700 microcontroller and Infineon’s free-of-charge, Eclipse-based integrated Mouser Now Stocking Infineon’s XMC4700 Relax Series Evaluation Kits Ldevelopment environment (IDE), DAVE. With the XMC4700 Relax, Relax Kit for 5V Shields, and Relax Lite kits, engineers can prototype designs for a variety of industrial and consumer applications, including automation, construction and agricultural vehicles, motor control, solar energy systems, and power supplies.

The Infineon XMC4700 Relax, Relax Kit for 5V Shields, and Relax Lite evaluation kits, available from Mouser Electronics, are all equipped with an Infineon XMC4700 microcontroller based on a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 core; an onboard debug probe that supports serial wire debug (SWD), serial wire output (SWO), and a virtual COM port; plus a micro-USB port. All three boards feature Arduino Uno-compatible headers. The Relax and Relax Lite boards include 0-Ohm bridges that allow the kits to work with 3.3V Arduino Uno-compatible shields, and the Relax Kit for 5V Shields includes a voltage level shifter that allows it to work with both 3.3V and 5V Arduino Uno-compatible shields.

The XMC4700 Relax Kit adds Ethernet-enabled communication, which can facilitate an embedded server, and a microSD Card slot that allows users to store HTML web pages. The Relax Kit also features 32 Mbits of quad-SPI flash memory, an Infineon high-speed CAN transceiver suitable for 12V and 24V bus systems, and a 32.768 kHz real-time clock (RTC) crystal.
