Elon Musk gives us a glimpse at the new robotic snake charger for Tesla vehicles

Back in December, Elon Musk gave the public a tid bit of information without much elaboration. Simply put, he said “Btw, we are actually working on a charger that automatically moves out from the wall & connects like a solid metal snake. For realz” in a Tweet.

Now, almost eight months later, he has Tweeted again about this mysterious metal snake charger — this time with an accompanying video showing the charger in action.
